Story behind the creation of the clothing manufacturer Healing Hands is extremely moving, as it was created out of gratitude and in thanks to the medical staff who gave its founder Bansi Lakhani special care in the intensive care unit after a serious heart operation.
Bansi Lakhani decided that he would create comfortable and professional clothing for them, in which they could perform their incredibly responsible and hard, multi-hour work in much more comfortable conditions, instead of stiff aprons that restrict movement.
According to his vision, medical garments should fit so that they are not hindered by excessive stretches of sagging material, but at the same time should not restrict movement.
His concept was to create models that were durable, able to withstand high-frequency use, yet practical and fashionable, so that his designs would be willingly worn with great pleasure.
So the company was founded in 2009 and the idea was to make nurses and doctors happy so that they feel fantastic in their workplace.
Today, founder Banasi Lakhari travels the world in search of the most perfect fabrics to create his collections arising straight from the heart, and his watchwords are:
"If my angels are happy, so am I" and
"The power of healing is in your hands, and the power of comfort in your medical clothes"
